California Nurses Say No to Meg Whitman: July 15, 2010

Over 1100 RNs deliver a message to Meg Whitman's home in Atherton, California saying no to her demands for nurses' private information, no to her plans for the state. Nurses have, "Been there, done that!" so they know what Meg Whitman means by "deregulation." Like Arnold, she will weaken workplace safety enforcement, and cut the jobs of public workers who sustain the health of our state. She will cut funds to the most vulnerable Californians, the ones nurses care for every day. She wants to roll back laws that protect California's environment.
